Letters of Appreciation |
---|
The following letters of appreciation have been recieved from pupils. Dear Gordon We just wanted to send a card to thank you for your help and patience. We had a great day on the 22nd Nov. We did make it round the floor, I'm sure it wasn't our best effort, but we got round and our friends and family were impressed! Many thanks again. We did enjoy the lessons and would love to come to the group class when it starts again. All the best for 2004. Nicola & Colin *********************** Dear Gordon Thank you very much for teaching me and Adam to dance in preparation for our wedding in September. I don't think dancing came naturally to both of us but we did have a lot of fun at your lessons and practising. The first dance went reasonably well which many of our guests commented on. Thanks again and as my sister is getting married next year I shall recommend your services to her. Please accept our apologies for the belatedness of this letter, but with moving to Sydney there has been much to do! Claire & Adam *********************** Gordon The first dance went perfectly!!. We hardly had to think about it. The whole day was amazing - like a dream. Thanks for all your help. See you at one of your classes on our return from Australia. Hazel & Stephen *********************** Gordon Thank you for sharing your time with us and for teaching us the social foxtrot in double quick time! The first dance went down a storm and everyone was so surprised at how accomplished we looked. We had a ball!! Thanks again. Neil & Amanda *********************** Gordon Thank you so much for all the help you gave us with our dancing in the lead up to our wedding - we had great fun learning and surprised lots of people on the big day. We haven't seen a video of the dance yet, but enclose a couple of photos to give you an idea of how we looked. David & Gettie P.S. We'll be back soon to tango! *********************** Dear Gordon Thank you so much for your invaluable dance lessons - and your patience! We managed what is reported to be a very reasonable turn 'round the dancefloor(but we haven't seen the video yet!). In case you're wondering, our song was a Louis Armstrong version of 'Only You'- an excellent beat going on in the background! Ann & Angus *********************** Gordon Many thanks for all your expert tuition, we really enjoyed our lessons with you. Apologies for not getting back to you before the wedding - events overtook us and we ran out of time! We had a great day and managed to pull off our dance accompanied by the band to 'Dark Island'. Can't wait to see our video and see how we did. Fiona & Brian *********************** Dear Gordon Ian and I want to thank you so much for your patience and tutoring with our first dance. Although we both felt wooden and unsure of ourselves during the lessons, the more we practised, the more we enjoyed the dance and by the night of our wedding, we were not a bit nervous and very comfortable dancing together. We thought we would cringe when we saw the DVD(and you probably would have) but we seemed to be doing what you taught us and in time! Thank you again for all your help. We shall certainly recommend you to our many marrying friends! Ian & Amanda *********************** Dear Gordon We just wanted to drop you a note to say a big thanks for all your help and support during the lead up to our wedding at Dundas. We had a fantastic wedding day, the sun shone like it was summer and the whole day was perfect. Our dance went very well and we both enjoyed it also. My train(on my dress) added a little something into the equation but we still managed to look very good on the dancefloor. We always enjoyed our dance lessons and it was time well spent as we did enjoy our first dance! Thank you again. Marnie & George |
